  • Are these studies based on the inductive Bible study approach?
Yes, the basic steps are observation, interpretation and application.

  • Why do I need a workbook?
The student's interaction with the workbook is crucial (especially for underlining and answering questions).

  • What is the video teaching provided on this website?
The video teaching is the "interpretation" part of studying the Bible inductively. This teaching is very similar to what is
     contained in the workbook.

  • What if I need additional assistance?
You may receive additional assistance using the online form, interacting with others on the By-the-Book Bible study forum
or with a respected mentor or teacher in your life.

  • Will my answers be checked or graded?
We do not offer that service at this time. All answers to questions are in the Bible lesson in the workbook.

  • What other materials are needed?
Your own copy of the Bible and a set of colored pencils.

  • How long does it take to complete a workbook?
You may spend as much time as you would like. In order to provide some level of accountability to yourself, you are
encouraged to chart your progress on the Bible study log in each workbook.

  • May I use this for my daily devotions?
Yes, this is an excellent tool to use for daily devotions. God's Word commands us to "study" the Bible (see 2 Timothy 2:15).

  • Do these studies use Greek and Hebrew words?
There are various word studies throughout each workbook taken from the Greek and Hebrew. There is no prerequisite to
    knowing these languages.

  • What are the fees/ How much does it cost?
All By-the-Book Bible studies are provided through the generous donations of those who seek to give.
This is a non profit ministry and is dependent upon the donations of others.
If you should desire to make a contribution, you may do so but clicking here.

  • How much time is required to complete each workbook?
Each lesson is a different length depending on the amount of material covered.
Remember, the more you put into each lesson, the more you will receive in return.

  • What if I want to go deeper in my studies?
This website offers additional tools, materials and website links.

  • What denominational bias?
The material is non-denominational. You may also view our statement of faith here.
